About the Northwest Cabarrus Middle School Bands
A well-rounded music education program, the instrumental music program at Northwest Cabarrus Middle offers: a unique opportunity to join hardworking youth together in a variety of challenging pursuits, a course of study to learn about music and performance, and a place for character development. The performance organizations under the instrumental music department include: 7th and 8th grade band.  6th grade is for general music and Cabarrus county schools does not start band until the 7th grade year at the middle school.
Titans  
  The purpose of the Northwest Middle School Band program is to impart an appreciation of music to all of its members through successful study and performance. In addition, students are given the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for future life experiences and develop their knowledge of music that will prepare the student for the progression into the high school band program.

  Cabarrus County Schools  The Cabarrus County Public School System serves the students of Cabarrus County with the exception of parts of Kannapolis, which operates its own school district.  Cabarrus County is a county located in the south-central part of the U.S. state of North Carolina.
 
The Cabarrus County Public School System is the 10th largest school district out of 115 public schools systems in NC and the 313th largest public school district in the US.
